DHS 3-2-1 Lettermen

Seven Dupree High School juniors have earned their letterman jackets through the 3-2-1 DHS Booster Club program. To earn a 3-2-1 program jacket from the DHS Booster Club, a student must be in three sports at DHS for the first two years of high school at DHS and this must be done by one student.

Pederson BHR horses win two top earner awards

The Pederson Broken Heart Ranch at Firesteel brought home two buckles from the annual awards presentation at the S.D. Quarterhorse Association annual meeting held December 2 in Ft. Pierre.

Winter time is reading time - lots of choices

We would like to congratulate the Library Coloring contest winners: Lydia O’Brien was our winner in the ages 3 to 5 category. We had no entries in the 11-15 category, so we have two winners in the 6-10 and they are Porter Bridges and Lance Shoots The Enemy. Our 16-adult winner is Melissa Aberle.

LOOKING BACK

Timber Lake will continue its slow, but steady growth and progress according to plans projected for 1964. At least two building projects are in the offing. Mayor Einar Ericson announced the city will undertake improving the Community Hall, during this year.
