With a light agenda, the Isabel Board of Trustees wrapped up its monthly meeting last Tuesday, Nov. 7, in just over 30 minutes by approving three liquor license applications and a building permit for a prefabricated home that was moved to town later last week.

TL Grade 6-8 girls open BB season with wins

The Timber Lake Grade 6-8 girls basketball team tipped off its season Friday, Nov. 10, with a pair of wins. The Grade 6-7 girls claimed a 46-9 victory over McLaughlin behind the scoring of a trio of sixth graders. Kylie Lawrence, Autym Red Bear and Josie Boldt all finished with 12 points.
At district competition last week, Molly Miller (right) advanced to regions in Poetry and Meredith Maciejewski advanced in Serious Interpretation. On Monday, Nov. 13, in regional competition Miller advanced to the State Oral Interpretation Contest in Poetry and Maciejewski will serve as an alternate in Serious Interpretation.
