An amendment to the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe’s (CRST) Alcoholic Beverages Control Law - known as Ordinance 48 - will go into effect reservation-wide on Friday, Dec. 1, imposing increased taxes on both on-sale and off-sale liquor purchases.

New state record walleye caught south of Mobridge

A South Dakota state record walleye was caught last Friday, Oct. 27, on Lake Oahe south of Mobridge. Aaron Schuck, 43, of Bismarck, ND caught the 16-pound eightounce fish using a Walleye Nations reaper crankbait.
