On Thursday for lunch, Peyton Keller met her grandma, Sandi Orth, at the Great Plains. For the rest of the afternoon, Peyton helped her grandma Bonnie Keller at her farmer’s market. Matthew Aberle visited Chuck and Marsha Aberle on Saturday.
Dupree students were off to a dog-gone great start to the school year when a local dog tried to attend. Sad for him, as he just wanted to learn with his student friends, he was escorted out.

Class size prompts TL School to add Jr. Kindergarten teacher

McLaughlin man convicted by federal jury for simple assault

A 19-year-old McLaughlin man was found guilty last Tuesday, Aug. 8, of simple assault after a two-day federal jury trial in Aberdeen stemming from a June 2022 incident in McIntosh. Martin Black Cloud was indicted by a federal grand jury in September 2022.
