Sept. 30, 2023: NAP application closing date for all perennial forage, fall and spring seeded garlic, rye, speltz, triticale, wheat, and mixed forage crops.

Nobody puts on a parade like the town of Isabel and last Saturday’s Isabel Celebration parade proved it as hundreds braved cooler temps and rainy drizzle to take in the entries. Above, both young and old lined the parade route to pick up some of the goodies being thrown from entries.
The Dewey County Commissioners hired an Emergency Manager, awarded a contract for repair of the courthouse roof, and accepted bids for several parcels of surplus property when they met last Thursday, Aug. 3.

Sparky’s Bar & Grille, currently owned by Wade and Jolene Maher, was listed Monday morning by the Battle Creek Agency in Hermosa, owned by John Kerstiens.

At Timber Lake, staff will have professional development days on August 16 and 17. Classes will begin on August 22. (PreK Class B will begin on August 22 and PreK Class A will start on August 23.
