Celebrating 80 years

Norman Hieb of Timber Lake was the guest of honor at a surprise 80th birthday party at the Timber Lake Community Center on Sunday, April 23. A large crowd, including children, grandchildren, other family members, and dozens of friends offered congratulations and enjoyed a meal and birthday cake.

Tucker Kraft, NFL Draft bring TL into the spotlight

Tucker Kraft remembers his roots. Just ask his college football coach John Stiegelmeier. Kraft, an All-American tight end at South Dakota State University, is the first Jackrabbit in program history to declare early for the NFL Draft and his decision left a lasting impression on Stiegelmeier.

Timber Lake senior Kenna Webb’s head start toward a college degree is saving her time and money After Kenna Webb earns her diploma from Timber Lake High School next Sunday, May 7, she plans on enjoying the summer before beginning classes at Northern State University in Aberdeen.

TLHS Prom Night set Saturday, April 22

The Timber Lake High School prom is set for Saturday, April 22 in the old gym with the theme “A Night in Vegas!” Photos are scheduled beginning at 5 p.m., with time slots for each high school class. The public is welcome to the grand march at 8 p.m.
