Horizon Health dental clinics offer mouth guards for student athletes

Horizon Health Care’s eight dental clinics, including the one at Faith, offer $10, custom-fit mouth guards to any student athlete, including those attending college. The mouth guards are available year-round to patients throughout the Horizon Health Care system.

Isabel amends marijuana ordinance

The Isabel Board of Trustees voted 4-1 on Monday, Aug. 8, to ratify an amended ordinance that allows two medical marijuana licenses to be issued in each of four different categories: dispensary, cultivation, product manufacturing and testing.

Going to DC

Two veterans who met up at the Isabel celebration will be among the 80 vets on the Midwest Honor Flight to Washington, DC on October 1. Keith Dorsey (LEFT) of Isabel and Art Heinrich, formerly of Isabel and now of Box Elder, are looking forward to the experience.

Harvest underway

Winter wheat harvest in the area is just finishing up and spring wheat harvest is well underway. For spring wheat, southern areas are finishing up and northern areas are just getting started. That’s the word from Mike Huber, agronomist at Agtegra in McLaughlin.
