Area youth to vie for state wrestling honors

Youth wrestlers from teams in Dupree, McLaughlin, Eagle Butte, Mobridge, and Faith will be among those converging on the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls this weekend, March 25-27, for the South Dakota Wrestling Coaches Association (SDWCA) Championships.

Elshere, Garrett tackle broncs at RodeoHouston

Several area cowboys were in the title hunt at RodeoHouston, the largest livestock show in the world with rodeo action and music concerts every night from Feb. 28-March 19 in Houston, TX. Each night, only eight competitors or teams are invited to participate in each event.

200 Club drawings held at Dupree

The Sacred Heart Parish of Dupree held the monthly 200 Club drawings on Sunday, March 20 following Holy Mass and Brunch at the church hall.
