Applications for 2022 4-H Scholarships close April 1

The 2022 South Dakota 4-H scholarship application is now available. Youth who have at least five years of active membership in South Dakota 4-H, are current high school seniors, or are enrolled at SDSU are eligible to apply for most South Dakota 4-H Scholarships.

Elderly and disabled have until April 1 to apply for tax relief

Elderly and disabled South Dakotans have until April 1, 2022, to apply for property tax relief under South Dakota’s Assessment Freeze for the Elderly and Disabled Program. Under the program, a qualifying homeowner’s property assessment is prevented from increasing for tax purposes.
