4-H members presented 131 exhibits at Dewey County 4-H Achievement Day

Dewey County 4-H members proudly showcased their exhibits on Thursday, July 23 at the Dewey County Achievement Day held in Timber Lake. The 4-H members ranging from ages 8-18 brought a total of 131 exhibits, including 7 Music presentations and 5 Fashion Revue presentations.

Dewey County 4-H Open class exhibit results

The Dewey County Fair Open Class is where 4-H youth and members of the public can enter their project work in the fair. Open Class Ribbon Placings are Blue-1st Place, Red-2nd Place, White-3rd Place.

Dewey County 4-H cookie and pie auction raises $4,950

There were 16 entries in the 4-H Cookie Contest with Finley Boldt’s Monster Cookies earning her the Grand Champion Rosette and a cash prize of $20.00, donated by Jon Flatland.Cassidy Winterberg’s Chocolate Chip Cookies earned the Reserve Champion Rosette, along with a $10.

Isabel Fire Department cook out continues despite rain

Rance Martin wins $300 in frisbees at Isabel Rodeo

There were many winners at the Isabel Celebration Rodeo and not just among the competitors. Friday and Saturday night there were calf scrambles and frisbee tosses with big prizes.Friday night, Rance Martin took first and second place winning $200 and $100 respectively in the frisbee toss.
