Annual Coal Springs Threshing Bee sets schedule for September 25-27

The Coal Springs Threshing Bee is September 25-27 at the show grounds located 3 miles south of the Meadow corner on Highway 73.International Harvester is the featured tractor manufacturer this year. Several of the club members have Farmall and IH tractors in their collections.
A ribbon cutting was held Friday, September 4 for the new Eagle Butte location of West Side Meats. The CRST Buffalo Authority Corporation also operates West Side Meats in Mobridge and West Side Meats C Store in LaPlant. Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Chairman Ryman LeBeau (center) and CRST Council member Joseph Brings Plenty, Sr.(right) were among those participating in the ribbon cutting.
