Death of Timber Lake man being investigated

The Cheyenne River Police took an adult female into custody and are investigating the death of a Timber Lake man after law enforcement responded to a call at a Timber Lake residence last Friday, Jan. 14.

TLAD brings housing issue to city board

Timber Lake’s need for new housing was the center of discussion when Timber Lake & Area Development representatives met with the Timber Lake City Board on January 10.

Filing for Isabel board opens Jan. 28

Filing will open January 28 for two seats that are up for election on the Isabel Board of Trustees. The board set the municipal election for Tuesday, April 12, during its monthly meeting last Thursday, Jan. 6. Up for election are the three-year terms currently held by Peggy Ley and Judy Gifford.

Blood drives set for next week

A blood drive will be held in Dupree at the Catholic Church hall on Tuesday, January 18. It will begin at 2:30 p.m. and the last appointments can be at 5:30 p.m. A blood drive will be held at the Timber Lake Community Center on Wednesday, January 19 from 12 noon to 4:30 p.m.
