The Ziebach County Courthouse will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and also the afternoon of December 23, all day December 24 and all day December 31.

Seeking bookmobile memories

The old South Dakota State Library Bookmobile that delivered books to town and rural schools in Dewey, Corson and Ziebach counties 50-60 years ago, had been sitting on a vacant lot in Isabel until it was recently moved to Timber Lake as a temporary exhibit of the Historical Society.
