May 18, 2021 Allen Michael Garreau, 37, Eagle Butte was indicted on May 11, 2021 by a federal grand jury for possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance. He appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark A. Moreno on May 14, 2021, and pled not guilty to the indictment.

Corson County approved for ECP for water projects

Corson County has been approved for the Emergency Conservation Program (ECP) to aid farmers and ranchers for water development. Although waiting for funding, Corson was approved for a 45-day signup period, starting June 1 and ending July 15.
