Timber Lake to host One-Act Play Competition January 20

Timber Lake School will host the seven schools at the Regional One-Act Play Contest on Wednesday, January 20. Schools expected to present their serious one-acts are Dupree, Lemmon, Faulkton, Selby, Newell, Gettysburg and Timber Lake. The public will not allowed at the competition.

Dupree cast to present one-act play for public on Friday, January 15

The Dupree School will be performing the one act play Orientation on Friday, Jan. 15 at 6:00 p.m. in their old gym. The play will be free and open to the public.

Monday, January 18: No school. Tuesday, January 19: Breakfast: Yogurt, Pop-Tart, fruit, juice, and milk. Lunch: Chicken strips, carrots, fruit, and milk. Wednesday, January 20: Breakfast: Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, fruit, juice, and milk.

Brewer, Brownotter on MSU dean’s list

Montana State University in Bozeman, MT has announced its undergraduate honor rolls for the fall 2020 semester. The Dean's List includes the 3,834 students earning grade point averages of 3.5 or above for the semester.

The weather in Trail City has been fairly cloudy lately with no snow. Justin and Amaya Aberle were out at Chuck and Marsha Aberle’s house most of the day Sunday. Tobi Hintz rode home with Kaitlin Konchne and her three kids from White Lake after spending some time there during Christmas break.

The Isabel News January 3, 1941 The farm house of Mr. and Mrs. James Archer 2 miles north of Isabel burned to the ground Monday morning. Mr. Archer started a fire and went back to bed. Later he was awakened by the barking of his dog.
