Mobridge,Gettysburg airports among those to get federal grants

The South Dakota Aeronautics Commission last week approved six public airports in the state to receive federal grant funds for improvements, including the Mobridge and Gettysburg municipal airports. The grants were announced Thursday, Aug. 20. The largest project funded is $11.

Ag Dept. reminds producers to check sources of seeds

The South Dakota Department of Agriculture reminds producers to check the source of cover crop seeds and ensure a lab analysis on the seeds has been conducted before planting.
