Mobridge,Gettysburg airports among those to get federal grants

The South Dakota Aeronautics Commission last week approved six public airports in the state to receive federal grant funds for improvements, including the Mobridge and Gettysburg municipal airports. The grants were announced Thursday, Aug. 20. The largest project funded is $11.

With the number of coronavirus cases on the reservation at 21, CRST Chairman Harold Frazier said Tuesday the tribal council would be discussing whether to raise the emergency response from Level 3 to Level 4 this week.
