Isabel board approves community center upgrades

The Isabel Town Board continued to make improvements to the community center building last Tuesday, Aug. 11, upgrading wi-fi and cellular telephone service within the building and updating the fire alarm system.

Tiospaye Topa, Dupree delay start of school

The Dupree and Tiospaye Topa schools have adjusted their reopening plans and school calendars. Both will delay the start of the 2020-21 school year until September due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dupree, which initially scheduled the 2020-21 school year to start on Thursday, Aug.

SHERIFF’S REPORT

Corson County Sheriff Keith Gall On August 3 at 4:10 pm, the Corson County Sheriff’s Office conducted a bond compliance check on a 48-year-old male from Mobridge. It was found the subject tested positive for methamphetamine use. A no bond warrant was issued and the subject was taken into custody.

Team Weinhandl wins Corson Co. Ranch Rodeo Series Final crown

Team Weinhandl - comprised of Logan Weinhandl, Josh Meyer, Brandon Meyer and Kelly Kerner - captured top honors in the finals of the 2020 Corson County Ranch Rodeo Series in McLaughlin on Saturday, Aug. 15, earning each team member a custom-made championship saddle.
