Fanning, Palmer new at Timber Lake FSA office

Two new appointees at the USDA’s Farm Service Agency office in Timber Lake, Sabrina Fanning and Tyen Palmer, recently began work in the loan department. Fanning was hired in September 2019 as a farm loan officer trainee and had been training in Sturgis until coming to Timber Lake.

Work began Monday at the Timber Lake rodeo grounds, where Rodeo Association volunteers started to remove the sidewalk and fence in front of the grandstand with plans to replace it by the end of the week.

Hepper case may be going to federal court

On Tuesday, July 20, Fourth Circuit Judge Gordon Swanson set August 17 as the date for a motions hearing in the case of Wayne D. Hepper of Kenel, who faces charges of eluding and failure to stop for an emergency vehicle.

SDHA has $16 million available for housing programs
