Coaches within the Timber Lake High School athletic department have announced the student-athletes receiving year-end awards in their respective sports. The formal athletic awards presentations usually conducted at the end of the school year was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fall athletic award winners were given in last week’s issue of the Topic and winter athletic award winners are given this week.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
First-year Coach Erin Gimbel’s Lady Panther basketball team went 7-12 during regular season play, which included a fourth place finish in the Little Moreau Conference Tournament. The squad advanced to the second round of the Region 8B Tournament before being eliminated 68-41 by Newell.
