Robert “Bob” Chasing Hawk, Sr., 75, of Eagle Butte entered the Spirit World on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City. Bob is survived by his wife, Aldena Chasing Hawk of Eagle Butte; four sons, Devlon Chasing Hawk, Robert Chasing Hawk, Jr.

Funeral services for Ralph Taken Alive, 73, of Bullhead were held Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Little Eagle Veterans Building in Little Eagle with burial at All Nations Veterans Cemetery, rural Selfridge, ND. Ralph entered the Spirit World on December 19, 2020 at Avera Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Lois M. Utter

Lois M. Utter, 89, of McIntosh died December 30, 2020. She was undergoing cancer treatment at Monument Health Hospital in Rapid City. Lois was born December 14, 1931 in Mobridge to George and Nora Pekelder. She grew up near Wakpala. She married Vernon Utter in 1954.

Gloria Hawk Eagle

Gloria Hawk Eagle, 69, of Green Grass, entered the spirit world, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Hospice House of Rapid City. Funeral services were Monday, December 28, 2020 at Green Grass Community Building with Ivan Looking Horse presiding.

Herbert Emil Landis

Graveside services for Herb Landis, 87, of rural Trail City were held December 30, 2020, at the Trail City Cemetery. A private family funeral service was held at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge.

Marvin Pahl

Marvin Pahl of Wright, WY died Friday, Dec. 18, 2020, at the Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Sept. 12, 1946, in Mobridge, the son of William “Bill” and Hanna (Rougutt) Pahl.

Truman Haugstad

Truman Jarvis Haugstad, 93, of rural Spring Grove, MN passed away Dec. 11, 2020 at the home of his sister Elaine, where he had been staying since suffering a stroke more than three years ago. Truman was born to Julius and Emma (Vick) Haugstad on Oct. 13, 1927.

Louise Stapert

Memorial service for Louise Carol Stapert, 66, of Aberdeen will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Dupree Cemetery at Dupree. Louise died December 14, 2020 at Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center. She is survived by her son, Larry of Timber Lake, one brother and three sisters.
