Colette Shaving, 69, of Eagle Butte entered the spirit world December 11, 2020 at Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre with her children by her side. A private family service was held December 26, 2020 at the Landmark Hall in Eagle Butte. Burial was in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at LaPlant.

Dora Mae Christensen

Dora Christensen, 80, of Gillette, WY passed away December 14, 2020 at Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette from complications of Covid-19. A celebration of life will be planned for mid-May 2021. Dora was born May 12, 1940 in Isabel to Albert and Emma Fuhrer.

Arthur H. Christman, 97, longtime Meadow area farmer and rancher, passed away on Sunday morning, December 27, 2020, at Five Counties Nursing Home in Lemmon. Memorial services are pending with the Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Lemmon.

James (Jim) Bossert

James (Jim) Bossert of Topeka, KS passed away December 13, 2020 at the age of 84. Jim was born April 2, 1936, the son of Gust and Pauline Bossert, in Fort Yates, ND. He graduated from McLaughlin High School and went to work for Moreau-Grand Electric Co-op.

Delilah Tiger

Delilah Tiger, 81, of White Horse entered the spirit world Friday, December 18, 2020 at Aberdeen Health and Rehab in Aberdeen. A private family service will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in White Horse with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Vallee Rae Anderson

Memorial services for Vallee Rae Anderson, 85, of Eagle Butte were held December 21, 2020 at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Inurnment was at the Timber Lake Cemetery. Vallee Rae passed away December 11, 2020 at Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre.

Cheryl Taken Alive and Jesse “Jay” Taken Alive

A private family service for Cheryl Taken Alive, 64, and Jesse “Jay” Taken Alive, 65, both of McLaughlin, was held December 22, 2020 at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Interment was December 23 in the Crazy Walking Family Cemetery, rural Fort Yates, ND, under the direction of Kesling Funeral Home.

Darlene Williams

Private family services for Darlene Williams, 88, of Spearfish were held December 18, 2020 at Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge. Interment was at the Dupree City Cemetery. Darlene passed away December 12, 2020 at Primrose Assisting Living in Sioux Falls.

David L. Lemer

David L. Lemer, 70, of Aberdeen, passed away December 15, 2020, at Prairie Heights Healthcare in Aberdeen. Mass of Christian Burial was held December 19, 2020, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aberdeen. Burial, with military rites, was at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen.

William Lloyd Dale

William Lloyd Dale, 82, of Lemmon passed away on December 4, 2020, surrounded by family members at the Bismarck (ND) Sanford Hospital. He was born July 28, 1938 at Burke to Bill and Alice (Chastain) Dale. On June 6, 1958, he married his high school sweetheart, Carol Jean Hofer, from Onida.
