Thompson boys, Panther golf team hit links

Panther MS teams third in Eureka

Timber Lake’s boys and girls middle school track teams were in the hunt for titles at the Eureka Lions Middle School Track Meet on Friday, April 22, but finished the day with respectable third place finishes.

Area competitors kick off HS rodeo season

The 2022 South Dakota High School Rodeo Association season got underway last weekend with several area competitors taking part in the New Underwood Rodeo held in Rapid City. Next on the association’s practice rodeo schedule is the Triple Crown Rodeos Friday through Sunday, April 29-May 1.

Marshall leads Dupree MS Track

Spencer Olsen and Marty Marshall turned in strong performances to lead the Dupree Tigers at the four-team Pierre Middle School Track Invitational last Thursday, April 21. Other schools included Crow Creek, Georgia Morse and Stanley County.

RODEO REPORT

The South Dakota High School Rodeo Association is set to open its 2022 practice rodeo schedule this weekend with the New Underwood Rodeo held Friday through Sunday, April 22-24, in Rapid City. This year’s schedule includes 13 rodeos and concludes May 30.

Panther boys win TL Track Tune-up

The Timber Lake Panthers posted first place finishes in six individual events, won two relays, and finished second in two others to top the 9-team field of boys’ teams at the Timber Lake Track Tune-Up held Friday, April 8, at Doug Kraft Field.
