Twenty teams, 14 youth compete at Isabel Ice Fishing Tournament

There was a little water on the ice due to a recent warm spell, but that didn’t deter 20 adult teams and 14 youth contestants from drilling and dropping bait at the 8th Annual Lake Isabel Ice Fishing Tournament on Saturday, Jan. 22.

Michelle Alley was recently inducted into the Hill College Athletic Hall of Fame in Hillsboro, TX. She is the daughter of Robert J. (Bob) Alley of Isabel.

Two Lemmon-McIntosh Cowboy wrestlers captured individual championships at the Battler Wrestling Invitational in Gettysburg on Saturday, Jan. 15 while a CEB/Dupree competitor earned fifth in his weight class. Cowboy 113 pounder Gage Anderson improved to 15-8 on the season and won his weight class.
