Seven members of the Dupree Youth Wrestling Club captured first place finishes at the South Dakota Wrestling Coaches Association (SDWCA) District 1 Tournament held Saturday, March 9, in Buffalo.Dupree will be among the teams competing at regionals on Saturday, March 15, in Aberdeen.

Faith coach chosen for Luitjens Coach of Influence Award

Faith girls basketball head coach Bryan Carmichael has been named the recipient of the 2025 Larry Luitjens Coach of Influence Award.Carmichael began coaching in Faith in 1992 and has dedicated the past 30 years as the head coach of Faith’s girls basketball program.

Joseph Brewer won a state title in his weight class recently at the state powerlifting tournament in Baltic.Brewer lifted 210 pounds in the squat, 135 pounds on the bench and 205 pounds in the deadift.
