Timber Lake girls collect 10th win of the season

The Timber Lake Lady Panthers earned their 10th win of the season last Tuesday by beating Dupree but did not have enough gas in the tank to upset unbeaten and stateranked Harding County two days later. The Lady Panthers downed the Tigers 39-27 before dropping a 43-29 decision to the Ranchers.

Panthers edge Kadoka in OT for 10th win of season

Timber Lake’s aggressive style of defense paid off big time at the end of a see-saw battle last Tuesday, Jan. 28, giving the Panthers a thrilling 61-60 win over the visiting Kougars.Timber Lake, which improved to 10-5 overall, has a couple of doubleheaders up next.

Panther girls get wins at Groton

Timber Lake Panther wrestlers Lilly Veit and Selena Longbrake turned in stellar performances at the Groton Wrestling Invitational last week with Veit claiming top honors in her weight class and Longbrake finishing a strong second in hers.

TL girls earn second place at round robin

Timber Lake’s Selena Longbrake went 3-0 to win the girls 126-pound bracket and teammate Lilly Veit claimed second at 185 pounds to lift the Panthers to second place on the girls side of the Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Dupree Round Robin Invitational on Monday, Feb. 3.

Schoelerman’s 17 leads Lady Panthers to win

Sophomore star ter Jaylee Schoelerman poured in a game-high 17 points to lead the Timber Lake Lady Panthers past the McIntosh Tigers 54-33 last Thursday, Jan. 30, in a Little Moreau Conference matchup.The win lifted Timber Lake to 9-5 overall while McIntosh dropped to 4-10 with the loss.
