TL girls claim LMC Tournament consolation crown over Newell

Timber Lake outscored Newell 22-8 in the first half and cruised through the second half to claim consolation championship honors over the Irrigators 45-28 at the girls Little Moreau Conference Tournament played Saturday, Jan. 25, in Lemmon.

Sully Buttes gets past Panthers by 10

Timber Lake led by seven at halftime but the Sully Buttes Chargers outscored the Panthers 33-16 after the break to collect a 58-48 win in boys hoops action last Tuesday, Jan. 21.

Lemmon tops Panther boys for LMC Tournament title

The 2024 Little Moreau Conference Tournament championship came down to the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds - Lemmon and Timber Lake - on Saturday, Jan. 25, with the Cowboys hoisting the championship at the end of a 66-53 battle with the Panthers.

Panther girls beat Sully Buttes in a 39-38 regular season fight

The Timber Lake Lady Panthers trailed most of its game with Sully Buttes last Tuesday, Jan. 21, but outscored the Chargers 12-3 in the final quarter to erase a 14-point deficit and rally for the win.The Lady Panthers travel to McIntosh on Saturday, Feb. 1, and host Dupree on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
