Lady Panthers drop decision to Sully Buttes

The Sully Buttes Chargers used a 30-12 first half scoring advantage to get past the Timber Lake Lady Panthers 58-34 in girls hoops action last Tuesday, Jan. 16. The loss dropped Timber Lake to 3-7 overall while the Chargers improved to 5-6.

Mustangs compete in Mo-Po Round Robin

What started out as a six-team round-robin tournament turned into a three-team event last Tuesday, Jan. 16, when three teams bowed out due to hazardous travel conditions caused by severe cold weather.

Panthers run wild in big win over Tiospaye Topa

Twelve different players scored for Timber Lake and the Panthers improved to 4-4 on the season by steamrolling the Tiospaye Topa Thunderhawks 83-26 in boys basketball action last Tuesday, Jan. 11. Then Mother Nature got involved.

Boys JV, C-Team pick up wins over Faith Longhorns

The Timber Lake boys JV squad and C-team earned basketball victories over the visiting Faith Longhorns last Thursday, Jan. 4, as the JV won 36-22 and the C-team won 20-13. JV Squad Timber Lake used a balanced attack to outscore Faith 20-4 through the second and third quarters to secure the win.

The Timber Lake Panthers had hopes for an upset entering their matchup with Little Moreau Conference rival Faith last Thursday, Jan. 4, but seniors Caden Selby and Jackson Schauer made sure the Longhorns remained unbeaten, engineering an 82-66 win in Timber Lake.
