Rattler wrestlers compete at SDWCA Dist. 3 tournament

Girls led the West River Rattlers wrestling team at the SDWCA District 3 Wrestling Tournament held Saturday, March 4, in Ft. Pierre. winning three championships and advancing to the Region 2 Tournament slated this Saturday, March 11, at TF Riggs High School in Pierre.

Longbrake takes title at Newell President’s Day tournament

Kemper Longbrake went 3-0 to capture top honors in the Midget (9-10) 55-58B division and lead the Dupree Youth Wrestling Team at the Newell President’s Day AAU Tournament on Monday, Feb. 20. Longbrake won all three of his matches by pin over wrestlers from Newell, Belle Fourche and Harding County.
