Isabel Dakotan August 10, 1972 Reunion Draws Over 200 The second annual IHS Alumni Reunion is now history. One hundred ninety-one attended the banquet Friday evening. An additional 40 alumni came to the dance that followed the supper.

Auction nets $1575 for 4-H

The Dewey County 4-H Pie and Cookie Auction was held Thursday evening, July 28 in the Days of 1910 tent. Taking the auction from the Community Center to a bigger audience before the talent show proved a good move as $1575 was raised for Dewey County 4-H.

You never know when you might run into a snake on the prairie. Brady Maher and his friends were in a pasture about 200 yards from Blake and Kate Connor’s house north of Isabel on July 3 when they spotted a bull snake, which appeared to be about six feet long.

Longtime Days of 1910 Rodeo committee member and volunteer Doug Maher was recognized prior to the start of Sunday’s program with a plaque and belt buckle for decades of service to the rodeo and community.
