Corson County Sheriff Alan Dale February 1 6:55 p.m., conducted a traffic stop in McLaughlin. The K-9 was deployed on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine and marijuana paraphernalia. The passenger, a 31-year-old female from Little Eagle, was turned over to BIA Police.

For many years Mary Acker Larson (Eagle Butte Class of 1942) was the custodian and caretaker of the family artifacts she and her sister, Peggy Jane Acker Helm, received from their father, George Thomas Acker, in 1976.
