Timber Lake Topic July 1, 1971 Breezes from the Lake Robert Lawrence of White Horse took five of his race horses to Park Jefferson this week. They will be racing there about a month. His horses that will be racing are: Peco Straw, Busy Wheels, Laughlin Bar Boy, Burnt Bars, and Chip Sweetheart.

Last Saturday, Matthew Aberle from Mobridge and Justin and Amaya Aberle from Mobridge were at Chuck and Marsha Aberle’s visiting. This Saturday, Chuck and Marsha Aberle went with Justin to a fishing tournament in Mobridge.

Farewell for Ray Lenk

A farewell gathering for Ray Lenk will be held on Saturday, August 14 at Harry’s Hall in Dupree from 2 to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome. Ray will be moving to Pierre.

Sacred Heart winners listed

The Sacred Heart Parish of Dupree held their monthly 200 Club Drawings Sunday, July 25 at the church hall following Holy Mass and Brunch. Winners were: $50 - Greg Fischer of Faith; $25 - Lee Brooks of Dupree, Sydney Schad of Lantry, Mary Farlee of Dupree, and Ray Lenk of Dupree.
