200 Club drawings

The Sacred Heart Catholic Parish in Dupree held their monthly 200 Club drawings on Sunday, December 20 following Holy Mass at the church hall. Winners were: $50-Tanya Bushong of Faith and Minda Woodward of Dupree; $25-Evelyn Anderson of Dupree, Mya Schad of Lantry and Leo Bakeberg of Dupree.

FSA Update: 2021 deadlines for CRP, ARC, and PLC signup announced

USDA has announced general signup for CRP will be open from January 4, 2021 to February 12, 2012; and signup for CRP Grasslands runs from March 15, 2021 to April 23, 2021. Both programs are competitive and provide annual rental payments for land devoted to conservation purposes.

SBA extends EIDL application deadline to Dec. 31, 2021

The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced that the deadline to apply for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program for the COVID-19 Pandemic disaster declaration is extended to Dec. 31, 2021.

Checkpoints

The South Dakota Department of Public Safety began 2021 by holding 20 sobriety checkpoints in 17 counties during the month of January. The checkpoints are designed to discourage drivers from drinking and then driving.
