Area bull and bronc riders win championships in Isabel

The 2022 Isabel Rodeo once again drew top competitors from across the Midwest and Canada, but most of the money out of the chutes stayed in the region as local cowboys won championships in bull riding, bronc riding, and steer wrestling.

Faith Stock Show & Rodeo underway through Sunday

The annual Faith Stock Show & Rodeo got underway Tuesday, Aug. 9, and will continue with events through Sunday, Aug. 14, highlighted by rodeo action each of the remaining nights. Events on tap Thursday, Aug. 11, in the rodeo arena will include Mutton Busting at 5 p.m. and a ranch rodeo at 6 p.m.

Kraft garners pre-season FCS accolades

Timber Lake High School alumni Tucker Kraft is one of six South Dakota State football players named to the Stats Perform FCS Pre-Season All-America Team and is also among 35 players from around the country named to the pre-season watch list for the 2022 Walter Payton Award.
